That&amp;rsquo;s how the lamp can pull the current needed for that rapid ramp-up.&#xA;The emitter itself is about&lt;strong&gt;300mm long&lt;/strong&gt;, a length chosen to spread the heat evenly across a standard chafing dish pan.
